Introduction Blog Post
As I sit and work on this assignment, I wonder what I have gotten myself into. I am a first year teacher, no only am I a teacher, but I am teaching special education. Not only am I a first year special education teacher, but we are launching a new initiative that all students will be one to one with technology. The kids will be getting issued Chrome Books later in the year, so that means that the teachers will be working on implementing them into their course work. I am taking two online courses this fall, and my wife is taking a full load of courses in her first year of undergrad work at Missouri S&T. Between work and school, and taking the kids to all there after school activities, we are busy! I am looking forward to the things that I will learn in this class. I hope to take away some great ideas to help me help my students be successful.

Andrew it is nice to meet you! This is my third year teaching, but first year in a multi age age special education classroom! This was my first week and it was a little over whelming at first but the way I look at it is what first week isn't like that! It is really nice your school is adding in all this technology! I know my kiddos I have this year love it when I turn the smart board! What school district are you? And if you need anything it's always good bouncing ideas off others! And Pinterest always has a lot of really good resources for special education classrooms!
