Blog Post #1


On page 35 in the book the writer talks about, “Once we start connecting, it’s all about the quality of the connections you make, not the quantity.  I feel that this is very true, because it is easier to look through a couple of great sites, verses a bunch of sites to find good information.  I think that as a teacher you need to keep the list of sources that you have students access, this way they can’t venture to far off topic, and this way you can make sure that it is school appropriate.  Also, you can make sure that the information that they are accessing is of a high quality and accurate.  Here are some things to help you do this:

  1. I am feeling like I am in the "quantity" place of creating my PLN so that I can get to the "quality." Have you found any resources for blogging or twitter that you have connected with and love?
